Prof. (Dr.) H.M. Chandola & Prof. (Dr.)N.R. Singh were honoured for outstanding contribution to Ayurveda by Integrated Medical Association on 27th October 2013. Dr. A.K. Walia, Hon’ble Health Minister of Delhi presented the award in the gracious presence of Sh. Yoganand Shastri, Hon’ble Speaker Delhi Vidhan Sabha & Dr. Rashidullah Khan- President I/C CCIM & Dr. Yuvraj Tyagi, founder Patron, IMA.
Prof. Dr. Tanuja Nesari, Additional Director (Academics) delivered aguest lecture & conducted a post conference workshop at 15t hInternational Conference onAyurveda organized by Rosenberg’s European Academy of Ayurveda, Germany. Approximately 300 delegates from 24 countries had participated in the conference. Indian Ambassador to Germany Mr.Gupte acknowledged the activities of the Sansthan in his inaugural speech.
Dr. Tanuja Nesari also delivered a lecture on the subject ‘Role of AYUSH in drafting a policy for National Urban Health Mission’ organized by Dept of AYUSH, Health & FW, GOI &
G.N.C.T.D on Sep. 27, 2013.
Prof. Arun Gupta, HOD-Deptt. of Panchakarma delivered a keynote lecture on ‘The role of Panchakarma in Life style disorders’ atconference on ‘Recent advancements in Panchakarma’ organizedby P.G. Dept. of Panchakarma, Rishikul Govt. Ayurveda College,Haridwar and MPAR. Dr. Gupta had also spoken at CME on Panchakarma for Medical Doctors organised by Pt. K.L.S. Govt.Ayurved College, Bhopal sponsored by RAV.

Martin Manyalich –President, TransplantProcurement Management- Donation and Training Institute (TPM-DTI) Barcelona, Spainat 2nd National level Transplant Coordinators Workshop held at Institute of Liver and BiliarySciences (ILBS), New Delhi during Sept.225,-2013.
Prof. Bharat Bhoyar, HOD – Dept. of Kaumarabhritya participated in three days 8th Asia Pacific-Regional Conference of the International Society for Neonatal Screening held during
Sept. 27-29, 2013 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, NewDelhi.
Dr. Santhosh. S. R. Nair, Associate Professor, Dept. of BasicPrinciples was invited as an expert in the meeting on preparation ofAyurvedic encyclopaedia, convened by the Commission forScientific and Technical Terminology, New Delhi, during September 25-30, 2013. He also attended IEC meeting at A & UTibbia College, Karol Bagh on 21st August, 2013.
Dr. Umesh Kumar Sapra, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Rog Nidandelivered a guest lecture on ‘Disease process and role of diet andother factors in development of a disease’ on 13th August 2013 at DMC Centre, Indian Red Cross Society, NHQ, New Delhi on invitation by Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
Dr. Smita Arora, Astt. Professor- Dept. of Kriya Sharir was awardedPhD (Ayurveda) degree & Dr. Sumer Singh, Associate Professor,Dept. of RS & BK & Dr. Vaishali P. Mali, Astt. Professor, Dept. Of Basic Principles submitted their Ph.D thesis at Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur.
Prof. Dr. H.M. Chandola, Prof. Dr.Tanuja Nesari, Dr. Santhosh S.R.Nair, Dr. Gaytri Juneja & Dr. Anjna Tak participated as subjectexperts of Kayachikitsa, Dravyaguna, Basic Principles, KriyaSharir & Prasuti Tantra Stri Roga respectively, in the workshop for the revision of P.G syllabus organised by CCIM during Oct. 24-25, 2013 at New Delhi.

Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Asst. Professor, Shalya Tantra presented a paper on ‘Surgical discipline of Ayurveda – Its role for better Healthcare’ in CME on ‘Multidimensional approach of Ayurveda for better Health care’ at Dept. of Sangyaharan, IMS, BHU Varanasi on Oct.15, 2013. He also underwent training in workshop on Cardio-Cerebro-Pulmonary Resuscitation (C.C.P.R-Aapada Prabandhan) held at Dept. of Sangyaharan, BHU during Oct.16-22, 2013.
